Do memberships run month-to-month or 4-week to 4-week period?

Memberships run month-to-month. Memberships will start the first day and be paid the first day of the month. This ensures adequate time for the Founder to schedule the Client into rotation. Exceptions can be made and agreed upon by Client and Founder.

For a ‘4 session a month’ membership, what happens for months with 5 partial or full weeks?

If the month has 5 partial or full weeks on the days that appointments are available to be scheduled, the Client has the option to purchase an additional session at a discounted rate (rate dependent on what Membership they have), otherwise, only 4 sessions will be scheduled for that month.

Typically, the last week of the month would be blocked off from new appointments to accommodate rescheduled appointments.

Do you have options other than credit cards on file?

Yes, I accept Cash, Checks, Venmo. Notify the Founder in writing to arrange.

How long can Memberships be frozen?

The membership can be frozen (at the start of the current month or next month if partially used) for any length of time if recovering from an illness/injury, care giving for someone, a temporary change in life circumstance or other as notified in writing, discussed and approved by Founder.

The membership would resume, adhering to the original terms, when unfrozen. If unable to continue with membership, the Client would not be charged a cancellation fee, following a membership freeze.

What are the details of the 30-day Membership Cancellation Notice?

If a Client is unable or does not want to continue their Membership, a 30-day Cancellation Notice in writing is required. Since Memberships run month-to-month, the Membership would be cancelled at the first of the next month following the 30-days.

Is the $150 Membership Cancellation Fee in addition to the 30-day notice, or in lieu of?

The $150 Membership Cancellation fee is in lieu of a 30-day notice. The Client is responsible for paying a $150 Membership Cancellation Fee if they do not notify the Founder in writing at least 30-days prior that they want to cancel their Membership.

If a Membership is expired and not being renewed, and the Client has remaining re-scheduled sessions to book (within 30-days) what happens?

Reasonable effort by the Founder will be made to accommodate the sessions the Clients has remaining.

Why is there a 24-Hour Appointment Cancellation Notice?

This policy is in place to allow time to offer the Appointment to other Clients.

Less than 24-hour’s notice is charged full price for the Appointment. At the Founder’s discretion, emergency exceptions can be made with less than 24-hour notice.

There is a 30-day reschedule window for Appointments with more than 24-hour’s cancellation notice. Every reasonable effort will be made by Founder to ensure appointment is reschedule even if reschedule date extends beyond 30-days.

Usually there’s about a three-month love affair with yoga. “I feel so good.” After about two months of practice, people think they are practically enlightened. Then usually around the third month, something happens and the yoga actually starts to work. And the first thing the ego structure does is to look for an escape route. People start heading for the door just at the moment they should stay.”
